Current images capture the constructionof ’sx new customer service and technica support center as well as the first building of the ’s West The allows users to see a new imagee of construction every 11 to 12 minutes and a time-lapsed movie of the process. Viewers can zoom in, downloads and e-mail images and see the progresse of bothprojects side-by-side. The H-P facilityy is scheduled to be completeed bylate 2009. The UNM West campus is scheduledc to start offering classes by sprinfgsemester 2010. As future development takes place, the camerass will be repositioned to chronicle the progresws ofthose projects.
Images from the cameraz also will be used as contenton RioVision, the city’sz public, education and government cable channels (Channela 15 and 22 for subscribers). City Councilors Mike Williams and Kathy Colley contributed funding from their discretionary accountw for the purchase and installationb ofthe cameras. The Web cam imagees are made possibleby . , the city’s contractedx service providerfor RioVision, will service the cameras.
